Isometric, isomotion and Iso Gin & Tonic
Another example of Isometric exercise in a PUSH / PULL movement resulting in a positive/negative muscle contraction as shown below with the Steel-Bow: a dual exercise using the same muscle position.

Same position, Same Model, totally different muscle exercise complimenting a full-shoulder, upper body exercise.
Ideal Isometric exercise would involve holding the resistance in each of the 3 stages of muscle contraction: extended / partial / fully contracted… as shown below with the Steel-Bow for a PULLING Back/Shoulder exercise.

However, another option would be to move through the full joint rotation in one complete movement, allowing for total muscle contraction & extension in an Isokenetic-type movement.
